What Happens During a Mobile Groom? A Step-by-Step Guide
If you've never used a mobile groomer before, you might be curious about how it all works. Here's a step-by-step guide to what happens during a typical mobile groom.
1. Arrival
Your groomer will park their van on your driveway or on the street outside your home. The van is completely self-contained — we bring our own water, electricity, and equipment.
2. Collection
You bring your dog out to the van, or the groomer can collect from your front door. A quick chat about what you'd like done today.
3. Assessment
The groomer checks your dog's coat condition, looks for any tangles or matting, and assesses skin health. If there are any concerns, they'll discuss these with you before starting.
4. The Groom
Bath, dry, clip, scissor, trim — whatever your dog needs. The groomer works through the service methodically, taking photos for your groom report.
5. Finishing
Nails clipped, ears cleaned, finishing touches. Your dog gets a final check and a treat!
6. Handover
Your dog is returned looking (and smelling!) fantastic. You'll receive a groom report card by email with before and after photos.
